However General Jaruzelski is in hospital yet again with heart problems and might do well to see 2011, let alone 2012... Now General Jaruzelski is back in hospital with pleurisy. It wont kill him, but these things just keep adding up. Though, according to the Polish, it's not looking too hot for him.

DevonDeathTrip 2,358 Posted September 26, 2011 Lech Walesa ill in hospital, in need of heart transplant apparently. Hope someone can show some solidarity with him. Lech Walesa has paid a reconciliatory hospital visit to his old nemesis General Jaruzelski, who is evidently finding living with cancer and pneumonia a bit of a struggle. Given that both have been discussed on these forums has possibilities, I thought the photo below gives a pretty graphic illustration of their contrasting health fortunes.

DevonDeathTrip 2,358 Posted May 18, 2012 Health update... “I feel very bad, that's why I almost never leave the house,” the 88-year-old told the Super Express tabloid. “I am in very bad shape, so not much is left of my life. I will be dying away, or expiring, in my home."
Phantom 2,533 Posted May 18, 2012 “I am in very bad shape, so not much is left of my life. I will be dying away, or expiring, in my home." Perhaps the journalist interviewing him should have done the follow up question "when?"

Rotten Ali 600 Posted June 8, 2012 Come on Spade... That's not really a befitting way to address anyone is it? Jarulzelski's repressions were quite mild in many respects. As I remember no one was shot, disappeared or jailed for indeterminate amounts of time while he was leader.

No. Are you old enough to remember it? No. Come on, you sound like a 5-year-old… If you know nothing on the subject, why not first educate yourself before posting embarrassing rubbish? http://en.wikipedia....l_law_in_Poland

History reflects that between 90 to 100 died. In my book that's still low number for about 30 million population being pushed down under Marshall Law conditions. And I do remember it quite well as I was about 13 at the time and even then an avid watcher of the news. As for today's news: I'm pushing him up the pecking order of my nailed on list. Magere Hein 1,400 Posted December 14, 2012 Marshall law? Marshall plan or martial law? I think he means Marshall Vladimir Sergeyevich Law, the Soviet boss of General Jaruzelski at that time. regards, Hein
