Prince Philip Duke Of Edinburgh

Recommended Posts

I'm sorry but it genuinely amazes me he's (reportedly) still alive.

He'll be 100 in June for cripes sake. Nobody who smoked for as many years as him should live that long.

*IF he makes it to June next year

it's no secret that they probably have assistants dedicated to monitor Philip all day while making sure he doesn't fall down or get sick.

Worth noting that Prince Philip will become the oldest ever British Duke in a week from today (10th December) when he turns 99 years and 6 months. He’ll overtake the 8th Duke of Wellington who died on 31st December 2014 aged 99 years, 5 months, 29 days.

3 days late to the party but he did it. Prince Philip became the oldest Duke ever on Thursday.

So in the past few days, the Queen has become the 7th oldest ruling state leader in history (as per her thread) while the Duke has become the oldest living Duke ever.

Bet they're partying hard.

The Daily Express pretending to have inside information on the Royals again even though we kinda guessed that at 94 and 99 the pair of them were going to be at the front of the queue even before taking into account their royal status...

I need to make a new thread for people who die within 6 months of receiving the vaccine. Phil would be top pick.

He once said that he wanted to be reincarnated as a deadly virus. Isn't it ironic that he will be among the first to receive vaccine for this not so deadly virus?

It is extremely deadly sometimes and extremely lame other times. Should call it "El Chino" like Sir Creep, for the discontinuity in its results...

Not beyond what's already posted on here. The post I replied to is my source for Prince Philip becoming the oldest living Duke ever (so take it up with @Ulitzer95) and if you looked at QE2's thread (as I referenced in my original post) you'll find a suggestion she'd become the 7th oldest ruling state leader in history. To help you out, I'll do the work for you...

No. I'm quite sure my old Twitter friend Ronnie Biggs was.

The first one was Pope John Paul II in 98/99.

Oh, and again in 04/05!

Btw, Kirk Douglas remained 3 years at No.1.

A good pick. He has potential. I think we’ll see him celebrate his 100th, but potentially drop off not long after.

I think he'll make it to the century but will be dead in the autumn.

The problem with him is he genuinely doesn't seem to give a fuck if he lives to 100 or not.

He presumably gets a card from his wife every year anyway...

Actually, I’ve heard that he has an aspiration to see 100, and that he’s holding out for it. That’s why I think he may go sometime after June.

He has always claimed the opposite to my knowledge.

Not that we're pen pals or anything.
