Wanking is going to overtake fishing as the number one UK pastime for the next 6 months.

So, if you only leave the house for your daily exercise - tomorrow the park's are full of men wanking behind trees, or summat!

No such luck.

Nope. Just the death of every civil liberty we take for granted.

William could choose to be known by one of his other names. (Some years back it was suggested that Charles might reign as George VII.) How about King Arthur II?

Anyone can choose to be known by any name they like.  However, only three of our monarchs have not reigned under their first given name.

Victoria's first name was Alexandrina.

Edward VII's first name was Albert after his father, but he didn't use it as his regnal name out of respect for his father.

George VI was also an Albert, but used the name George to give the effect of continuity after the abdication of his brother.

(Edward VIII was known to his family and friends by his last name, David, but his first name was Edward.)

David was his last given name. I'm not sure if the royal family have surnames as such, although I have heard Windsor, Mountbatten-Windsor or Wales used in some cases.

Yes, I know.  We were talking about given names and regnal names, so the surname wasn't relevant.

Boris would never announce a royal death - mainly as he is not their only pm - it would go down badly in Australia etc for the British pm to tell the world.

At least if he does die shortly the public purse will be saved a huge amount of money by the simple fact that the ceremony will be tiny. A vicar and Betty only. And a bloke with a shovel I suppose. Very cheap. A showcase for austerity funerals.

It will just be announced by a newsreader in a special newsflash, as it was for the Queen Mother.  Not a politician.

Again ? A-fucking gain ??

Article is 18th March.

To be brutal - a royal death - or any high profile death - would be a welcome distraction from fucking coronavirus.
