There's a Strictly thread @RoverAndOut and most of the early series have been done.

Definitely needs updating on that thread though. Shouldn't be as much work.

With it back on TV and having watched most series of it to my shame, I got thinking about who had been on I'm a Celebrity over the years, so thought I'd do a master list so we can keep track. It's taken a few days and there is a huge amount of utter dross on here that are such celebrities they might not even get a QO as and when they eventually go. Obviously, many of them won't die for quite a while but we've already lost somebody in the 40+ category and we've lost 5 in total. Some prime fodder here for a theme team, too, if someone is so inclined. Considering doing similar for Strictly, when I've regained my strength...

(Oh, and don't shout at me for my descriptions, I've basically gone for something they're known for, although I know several of them have other strings to their bow!)

I'm A Celebrity star AJ Pritchard will not be told that his grandmother has died until after he leaves the show, his family confirmed on Monday.

His brother, fellow dancer Curtis, posted a tribute online to their "nanna", who died on Friday aged 93.

The patriarch's (Bill Loud) death did get reported in the Dead of 2018 thread and was a pick in a couple of deadpools. I'm too young to have remembered the show, but quite before its time, given the explosion of reality series the past 20 years. I believe one of the sons was gay and part of what unfolded was the family dynamic related to his being out.

Oh damn. Chilling indeed. Sounds very much like a suicide when you mix this tweet with how they "tragically" found him dead at home.

Could have gone here, could have gone in off-the-radar deaths, but as it was technically reported at the time... Joshua Benney, the "star" of a 2017 episode of Intervention describing his addiction to hand-sanitzer, died last September of multiple-organ failure aged 38. An obituary in the local press unsurprisingly didn't mention he'd thrown away a six-figure yearly salary to chug Purrell.
