If true that's awful, a superb performer.

Irish character actresses appear to get snubbed by the obit media here. I recall the same for Ronnie Masterson.

There are some twitter rumblings that Carmel McSharry died earlier this month.

It'll be a shame if she doesn't obit, and not just because she's on two of my teams.

I mainly remember her from the TV series Beryl's Lot.

This is supposed proof of Carmel Mcsharry's death. Look carefully at the very small obit section on the right  https://static1.squarespace.com/static/545f9ffae4b043f3ac01badc/t/5aad29a58a922d6d3cacc72f/1521297838935/Newsletter+18th+March+2018.pdf

That's not any good. It is from a channel that takes names from Wikipedia Deaths in 2018 page and makes a tribute video for everyone. So it is completely useless, and a little bit psycho.

Oh well, I'll keep looking for anything more official then .I'm sure we'll soon know if it's true or not. There's no reason why anyone should fake the death of a 92 year old after all !

That doesn’t mean it hasn’t happened before though...

She was also Belle Carter in one of the great episodes of Hamish MacBeth ie the old woman who gets her foot stuck on a landmine.

RE - on YWillz above, here is Pan Breed 2016 alumnus Rev Sandy McDonald embarrassing his son on live TV. Yep, she was massive in David Tennant's life.
