Keeping my fingers crossed for you Glen, 2016 isn't over until it's over.

Wait, are you wanting him to live or die. Cause if it's the latter, I'm pretty sure many of us are hoping he makes 2017...

Ah I see that could be construed both ways.

I don't want anyone to die. Hoping he lives, just for clarification...

is it just me or is there ironic humour in wishing a dementia case well "for clarification"?

There Congress a time when it's a blessed relief... But just because the mind has given up it doesn't mean the body has.

Fucking cruel joke.

There's going to be a vote about it?

I know what you mean. When my Grandmother was in the final stage of Alzheimer`s and bedridden the medical professionals kept insisting when she had infections that she was rushed to AaE even when moving her made her scream and cry uncontrollably. They wanted to save her life but as a family we kept trying to scream at them for what purpose do we keep her alive when everything that made her who she was had been taken by the disease. In the end they gave us our way and let her die in peace whilst sedated but we had to fight for them to give in.

I'm a firm believer sometimes the kindest thing you can do is use a syringe of diamorphine to speed it along.

Then again, Harold Shipman had the same idea...

I am as well. That is why I think the census should include people expressing advance directives to write down what people want whilst they are still of sound mind.

It's the losing the ability to breath which is usually the kicker.

No, it won't even reach the Billboard top 100, I think.

The 12-track album will include songs from Campbell's longtime collaborator Jimmy Webb and a new version of his famous song "Postcard From Paris" with Campbell's children Cal, Shannon and Ashley singing the line, "I wish you were here."

So, there's one song that'll chart, then. Up there with Dhani Harrison duetting with his recently deceased dad on the closer and title track of the posthumous Brainwashed album

If so he's not the only person to complete an album he doesn't recall recording. During a late 1990s interview David Bowie was asked a question about the live Tin Machine album. The answer he gave made it clear he didn't know it had been released and hadn't a clue which gig(s) had been recorded. His excuse wasn't dementia it was a shitload of coke.

Adios due for June release - no track list as of yet.

So, that rumour that it's the same song twelve times and only he thinks it's an album...

Oh, they're timing the release to coincide with his death.

Ran away from home when I was seventeen
To be with you on the California coast
Drinking margaritas all night in the old cantina
Out on the California coast

Don't think that I'm ungrateful
And don't look so morose
Adios, adios

We never really made it baby
But we came pretty close
Adios, adios

Going up north where the hills are winter green
I got to leave you on the California coast
Going where the water's clear and the air is cleaner
Than the California Coast

Our dreams of endless summers
Were just too grandiose
Adios, adios

And I'll miss the blood red sunset
But I'll miss you the most
Adios, adios

Adios, adios
Adios, adios

His final song.
