Health warning mind

"He's lost most of his ability to communicate verbally, but he still understands the universal language of smiles and kisses," Kim told WTSP. "Our family (has chosen) to rally together in love and laughter and just support one another and try to make the best of each day and cherish every moment together."

And the article is bigging up a television show about him.

There's product in the old dog yet, so there's clearly life in him too.

He's riding the train that's taking the long way.

You never know he may be sharper than you think. He may even remember the correct use of apostrophes; it's cake's - watch your mental health out there!

http://www.latimes.com/socal/weekend/news/tn-wknd-et-0529-hansen-20160531-story.html. According to this article, he's still in stage 6 of alzheimers.

And before anyone asks, Stage 6 is more play-off place than full promotion:

This raises all sorts of possibilities including GoFundMe collections for dead poolers to take gifts to sick people and trade them for form studying opportunities

are there any families of celebrities suffering from alzheimers or dementia who aren't embrouiled in a nasty dispute over their will etc?

Haven't seen any evidence that the families of the Boys of 66 - incl Bonnetti - are doing that.

Decent, honest working class values being applied there, eh?

The problems seem to come from multiple marriages, and children arguing with spouse, who is not their birth mother. Added to this a large amount of money and any previous acrimony and resentments and the person at the centre of it all oblivious you have a perfect storm.

In some ways it is nothing new Jane Austen describes such a febrile family in the opening chapters of Sense and Sensibility.
