Marc Bolan and King James II. I'm sure there are others but these are the only two that interest me.

No one of particular note until very recently. I mean you got:

James Smithson (1829)

Ranjit Singh (1839) founder of Sikh Empire

Joseph & Hyrum Smith (1844) founder of Latter Day Saints (Mormons)

Then nuthin (all due respect to a bunch of non-Americans I never heard the fuck of, you Brits get the great Frank Smyth (1949) Lottie Dod (1960) A.J. Ayer (1989) (pfft whoever)

....until the 2000s when I got a nice little run going...

Jack Lemmon (2001)

John Entwistle (2002)

Gen George Patton IV (2004)

Then it dries up.

Bobby Womack was kind enough to try to get things going again last year (2014).

Sir Creep

Ok let's see who continues to string along some fame what Mr Womack started last year.

And the entire world of the living is on the clock starting..................NOW!

According to a cursory look on Wiki, my birthday was the death day of Robert McNamara, Tom Weir, Louis Armstrong and Nye Bevan. And lots of obscure people. If you go back way over a century, you find Guy de Maupassant (who wrote about deadpools) and Thomas More (who was on Henry VIII's personal deadpool).

Only extremely notable birthday for me is Italian dictator Benito Mussolini. I guess someone could say Alf Ramsey since he was a deathlist hit but I have no idea who he is. Otherwise, the names I recognized when I read through the list of deaths on my birthday were all due to dead pooling...

Alf Ramsey, England manager in 1966. Think they won something or other but they've kept quiet about it since...

The Birthday Problem: When does the probability that two people in the same group share the same birthday exceed 50%?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Birthday_problem

Answer: It's 23. Now I wonder how many people have posted in here and whether there are shared birthdays...

Out of soon-to-be 42 people, we have two matches. The first match came at nr. 29.

We have 9 September birthdays and only one in December. Both matches were in September.

Second most-frequent month is August with 6 birthdays. So I'm pretty sure that the zodiac sign Virgo is the most frequent one.

And as astrology says, Virgos like to categorize, to get things into order.

Oh, and famous deaths on my birthday: RIch Piana (that's why I could easily remember that August 25th was such a deathless day...), Neil Armstrong, Ted Kennedy, the woman R Kelly peed on.

Deaths on my birthday - Jack Dempsey and Danny la Rue (to cover the spectrum).

Births on my birthday - Clint Eastwood would be the most famous.

In the specific year that I was born it was a glorious 5 day spell from 28th May to 1st June in 1968.

28th May 1968 Kylie Minogue

31st May 1968 Me

1st June 1968 Jason Donovan

We're having a big get together to celebrate our 50th.
