Would You Qualify For A 'hit', In Pool Terms?

Recommended Posts

No names, no pack drill etc, but just wondering if any of us are 'candidates'. Yeah or Nae only.

Myself? Eh, naw, not unless charged with previous ninja.gif , no famous relatives, not made an impact in the World etc etc, I am not a ''pick''. (silent 'r')...........

I'm mates with the son of John Bishop...

So I reckon I'm a shoo-in for the Mail.

Bert , would this be after a comedy lover (you) goes on a wild shooting spree?

Well...I suppose I might if the Daily Mail repeats those ridiculous allegations that I was Margaret's secret lover at the time of the Miners Strike......

Can't see them going quite that far... Unless you drown in the Bish's swimming pool.

Yeah, I had a couple of top 20 singles in the late 90s with "I Breathe Again" and "Everything My Heart Desires", was in Corrie for a bit as well, I should pass.

Depending on circumstances, I think I may get qualify as a 'hit' based on previous coverage of colleagues. I'd probably only be famous for dying though, which would probably rule me out as a pick.

However, the last three people in my line of work to die have had wide UK obits and would even get you some extra points as two were suicides and one was a murder.

I don't think i'd make much of a pick though... I'm no Adam Rickett!!!

From Manchester, they've moved to a pastures new but used to live in Didsbury near to me...not really in contact with his eldest son that much anymore (said it for comic effect! har har...). Your mate's daughter will go to the same college as the middle son I think.

One of them also-ran obits in The Guardian on a slow week at best. Local obit a shoo-in. So - fittingly - I'd be worth Deathrace points.

Well this is a novel way to get new DDP picks....

I may be the only person on the DL to be actually picked for the DDP - http://www.derbydeadpool.co.uk/deadpool2009/celebs_O.html but nationwide full qualifying obit is highly unlikely.

However, I would possibly get a mention in motor racing news reports if I died in the next 5 years or so, and more likely so the longer I live due to the nature of what I do within historic motor racing and my relative youth compated to my contempatories, but I don't think it's worth putting me on the DDP again any time soon.

No.

When I die, it will largely go unnoticed. Hence why I'll never own a cat...

Alright at the mo, but I'm well aware life has (currently) proven itself 100% fatal for the human race. My Facebook friends hereabouts will doubtless grass up any life-threatening antics (like another blast of shisha) when they see it.
