arghton 6,121 Posted April 22, 2023 Baruch Mordechai Ezrachi has been in hospital again, this time due to a severe leg infection, discharged already but "isn't fully healed yet". 94 and health history includes open heart surgeries, stroke, infections and a cardiac arrest two years ago (that time he needed CPR, artificial coma and was on ventilator but was discharged in a week or two). Silverman was spiritual leader of Shearith Israel in Dallas from 1954 to 1964; Jack Ruby, a nightclub owner with links to the Mafia, was one of his congregants. Silverman told me in 2013, on the 50th anniversary of the Kennedy and Oswald murders, that Ruby would attend services to say Kaddish, the memorial prayer, for his father. Baruch Mordechai Ezrachi hospitalised critical on ventilator and sedated a week ago, but currently stable and improving. Baruch Mordechai Ezrachi greatly improving and to be moved to a rehab hospital soon. It's also revealed in the article he (age 94) had a tracheotomy last month and that tracheotomy is connected to a ventilator. However because nothing makes sense anymore, he's able to write and doctors are optimistic about his recovery.
