Dr. Zorders 1,271 Posted March 23, 2015 Alberta Watson, Actress of La Femme Nikita and 24, dies. http://globalnews.ca/news/1897540/canadian-actress-alberta-watson-dies-at-60/ Hmmm. Just checked and she played the head of CTU in my favourite season of 24. Thought the name sounded vaguely familiar. Wow it's a long time since I've seen it, those early-2000s series must look so out of date now, what with non-smart-phones, older computers and government agents who put a higher priority on stopping terrorist atrocities than raiding your phone for nude selfies.

But you are getting all Hollywood, as heart attacks come in many forms with few being the chest clutching drop dead type. My mother at about 75 wasn't feeling well and called my sister at 1am to tell her and argued about getting an ambulance (my sister called for one) cuz she was going to go to the hospitl in the morning pfft, and after paramedics arrived they said ma'am you're having a heart attack. If it's the other kind tough titties. We all play DP and are fully aware when you're number is up, it's up . SirC

I had such a crush on his Gilbert Blythe. It is just so sad. I think my daughter has the DVDs. Maybe PBS will air all three mini-series in Jonathan's memory.

As you are spot on. Growing up in Detroit we got to watch CBC right across the river... So I'm fully versed in Canadian programming and classics. PBS showing the trilogy would be cool, and I'd cuddle up (with a few beers this time lol ) and watch. I found the third offering an obtuse story with war and all that and Anne going to the Front, but I'm over it. Thanks to my ex wife I now fully enjoy costume dramas and at least the first two parts of AOGG. SC

To sound completely ridiculous, Jonathan Crombie was just so dreamy in that role. I always thought Megan Follows was a lucky bitch. If there is a rebroadcast I'd watch with a nice bottle of Chambord and pretend that it was Mirrilla's raspberry cordiale.
