Bad Brains singer Paul “H.R.” Hudson has been diagnosed with a rare neurobiological disorder known as ‘SUNCT' that causes extreme, crippling headaches.

Hudson’s wife Lori announced the news with the launch of a GoFundMe campaign to help raise $30,000 for treatment at a headache center not covered by their health insurance.

In an accompanying statement, Lori wrote: “There is no known cure and no reliable medical treatment. To give you an idea of what he’s dealing with, cluster headaches are nicknamed ‘Suicide Syndrome.’”

Great

I've got tickets to see the Sabs in January and the mate who bought them is the kiss of death for musicians - he's also the guy who bought tickets for Jacko and Lemmy before both of them died!

Aw fuckin' hell - this is apparantly "just in case it's serious" but my mate who bought these tickets also bought tickets pre-death for Jacko and Motorhead (so he's a jinx where this is concerned)

Geoff Nicholls, keyboardist for Black Sabbath, has died aged 68.

Aye, thank fuck he wasn't keyboardist with the current Sabs or my mate's curse of right act wrong time to buy a ticket (he got refunds on Jacko and Motorhead) might have hit the level of these things coming in threes.

Rave reviews from Glasgow and last chance for me to see still on for Tuesday night!
