The film below includes footage of 101-year-old ex-WW2 pilot Bernard Gardiner, celebrating his birthday flying in a Hawker Hurricane, which he last flew in 1944. Looks like he's still got years left in him!

As @Fantomasss said in the french speaking deathlist, Malaurie is one of the few french centenarian A lister along with Françoise Gilot, Micheline Presle, Roland Dumas and Edgar Morin. Soulages was the first one to die among them.

Second one to drop dead from our A-list of french centenarians (after Soulages…). A much needed point for my french list. RIP, such a shame she was overshadowed by Picasso.

 

see Ulitzer, even french people go live abroad cause of how horrific France is… ;)
