I think the record of 13 deaths will be broken by multiple people this year tbh, including myself (Booth, Bush, Downie are all certs and the others are mostly ill. In fact, I only think Carter and Odjick will definitely survive the year.). There's just too many good candidates on people's teams.

I reckon I'll probably be in the top 5 in the end, as I still see some hits that is yet to happen. But tbh, I'm surprised that I'm currently doing as well as I am at the moment, as it only took 5 minutes to make that list, and now 8 of them are dead by the end of May. I think this make the title harder to reach, but I think there will be some end of the year carkers on my team (Stefansson in particular). If my team does somehow win, it'll put a lot of pressure on the team I make next year for this dead pool (and it really is a fine dead pool).

Obviously more in the second half, which is why I mentioned it's harder to reach. But I can think of a couple of names that will probably die in the second half.

Bush is in no way still a cert, he's still technically active and seems to be improving well.

Well, how are you doing? The above leaderboard includes a comparison of those entrants from last year with their points and hits from a year ago according to the leaderboard posted at the beginning of June 2016.

 

Some have fewer hits and more points, some have more hits and fewer points, some are about the same - depends on the date of death of the chosen.

 

As we head towards the mid-point of the year, anyone could win. The points become chunkier, the hits more valuable, the positions change like the leaves on the trees as autumn comes.

 

Anyway, keep checking in and let me know if I've missed anyone. I'm not perfect you know, but I do try.
