Roger Lloyd-Pack AKA Trigger just gone...

http://www.bbc.co.uk...t-arts-25762006

Cheerio Dave

I saw Roger play Sir Andrew in Twelfth Night (with Stephen Fry) in November 2012.

He was an excellent comic and straight actor and will be sadly missed.

I thought he made a bit of a balls of his guest star role in Doctor Who (see also Bill Paterson).

Other than that he was great...

And yet he was the most interesting thing in that story.

Actually, having read his rational for the part, seemed one of those cases when it seems a wise acting choice at the time, but doesn't come across well in the filming. These things happen.

That probably finally kills off any hopes of a return for Only Fools then, although I thought John Sullivans death did that anyway

Trigger: You knew my grand-dad Arthur, didn't you Mr Trotter.

Grandad: Yeah, I knew Arthur alright.

Trigger: He was a smashing man, he took care of me when my mum went.

Rodney: Where was your dad?

Trigger: He died a couple of years before I was born.

R.I.P. Trigger. Thanks for all the laughs.

Russell Johnson, the professor in Gilligan's Island has passed away aged 89. I wonder who that leaves on the island?

Busy day today - Ruth Duccini the "little' known actress who played a munchkin on the Wizard of Oz has passed away at the age of 95. Given her size I wonder if she gets a discount for the funeral???

That makes Jerry Maren the last known surviving cast

member of The Wizard of Oz.

As far as I know, just Ginger & Mary-Ann left, now.

Wow, he just refused to get over it even after 30 years. Was he ever invited to speak in Liverpool?
