The Dead Of 2014

Recommended Posts

Lithuanian actor Donatas Banionis has died aged 90.

Famous for playing the lead role in the horrendously dull piece of crap 1972 Soviet sci-fi masterpiece "Solaris".

Watched it Dr?

Missed Joan off my list (sorry) A proper legend that should have been on everyone's list ....maybe there could be honoury blue plaque / thumbnails (in a side bar or something) to commemorate hindsight deaths of legends that we missed. If this idea has been mentioned already then please pardon my ignorance

I think we all missed Joan because we thought she was indestructible, being mostly plastic. (She may well have said this herself at some point)

A legend indeed.

I thought her death was very scary, because she had surgery for something minor and then all of a sudden, she's dead.

Clare Cathcart, of Call The Midwife, Doctors et al, has died aged 48.

That was one hell of an illness, she's aged four years between the Huffington Post report and your post.

Yeah, but she was 44 for a few minutes there. It's clearly a major illness that ages you four years past the point of death. A development for dead poolers to cheer in the face of those meddling bastard doctors and their cursed cures!

US tv host Scott Rodgers has been murdered http://www.bbc.com/n...uffolk-29000511 :shock2:

It seems he was shot by his lover (who he lived with) and his lover was also his son-in-law.

Nowt so queer as folk.

Said lover/son-in-law has now also died.

Chick-Fil-A founder and devout heterosexual S. Truett Cathy dead at 93.

Cathy gone home

It's kind of funny how appropriate the name of that restaurant is to its politics despite it being named presumably decades ago.

We want you to fill a chick, not eat a dick.

And he was 93. So........ probably didn't eat the stuff himself.
