Of course you can fucking well make sandwiches out of them. That sort of loaf, the ends are not much different from the rest. Tell the spoilt fussy brats they can have that or nothing. When they are a decent size (like those seem to be), I spread some Crucials Hot Stuff sauce on them, add cheddar, mozzarella, tomato etc and bake 'em in the oven for 15 minutes.
