MortalCaso 1,630 Posted August 23, 2022 (edited) It is interesting to me how old some of the richest people on our planet turn out to be. I've decided to make a few lists about that. We have a few thousand billionaires in the world, I am going to list the Top 5 by a few different countries + everyone else The 5 Oldest Billionaires August 2022 in the United States 1. (Wiki) George Joseph, age 100, Insurance 2. (Wiki) Charles Munger, age 98, Berkshire Hathaway 3. (Wiki) David Murdock, age 98, Dole food products 4. (Wiki) S. Daniel Abraham, age 97, Slim-Fast 5. (Wiki) Ted Lerner, age 96, Real-Estate In the U.S there are an additional 20 billionaires between age 96-90 and 114 between age 89-80. The 5 Oldest Billionaires August 2022 in the United Kingdom 1. Are there really not more 96+ billionaires in Southeast Asia, South Korea, Japan, China? I guess they're better at producing ancient politicians. Goh Cheng Liang, Singapore's paint czar is richer than Robert Kuok but he's only 95.

Health mentions: Tony Murray and George Joseph, the centenarians on the list, seems very active. Joseph A. Hardy III is in amazing health for a fat 99-year-old smoker. His "heir" is his 24-year-old daughter. Here's a picture of them from January: David Murdock said in 2011 that he's already planning his 125th birthday. In recent years he's been much more quiet. Olav Thon suffers from osteoarthritis, but otherwise in great health. "Retired" this year. Robert Kuok is one of the most mentioned (on this forum) people on that list, but I know nothing about his health. Charlie Munger seems slightly frail. Cafferata is a recluse heiress who never married and doesn't have children, would like to know more about her. I don't know much about Ito. Not sure when was Dolan's last public appearance, but I can't find any pictures from recent years
MortalCaso 1,630 Posted August 27, 2022 All the names from my list were from the Forbes annual billionaire list. Seemed anyone mentioned there was nearly a lock for a QO, which was kinda one of my points. That being said, seeing all the names not mentioned is interesting. I appreciate that other's also found some interest in the topic!
