To complicate things further, the internet wasn't always the internet.  It was the Information superhighway, then the world wide web, then the internet.

Formerly alive Ray C. Davis, the former CEO of a Houston-based technology company now known as Giant Gray Inc. — and formerly known as Behavioral Recognition Systems Inc. and BRS Labs — has died.

The Houston Chronicle reports that Davis’ lawyer, Dick DeGuerin, confirmed that Davis died July 7. He was in his 60s and suffered from several serious medical conditions, per the Chronicle.

Davis was facing federal charges alleging he embezzled money from his company and defrauded investors.

I see the Lords' website has been updated with his death.

Not yet announced in the Lords as far as I can see, but that is likely next week.

Thought that at least The Guardian would have covered his death by now. Hope springs...

Another ‘local interest’ obit.

His entire pizza chain employed 270 people, shoulda tipped you off.  That’s maybe 20 locations.  ‘Nationwide’ means he prolly had two locations across the border in Wisconsin.

The restaurant chain has its own Wikipedia entry.  That was enough for me to include it, even as a borderline post.

Sergio Marchionne is in really really bad health. He has left every role and his conditions worsened during the last hours. I think he may have not much left. Really out of the blue for the Southern Corporate Superman.

Marchionne's death is imminent.

EDIT: Lung cancer and irreversible coma.
