It’s a bad time to be part of Southwest Airlines, as former CEO James Parker is dead at 72.

Pierre Nanterme, the former Chairman & CEO of Accenture, has died.  He was 59.

https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20190131005428/en/Accenture-Announces-Passing-Chairman-CEO-Pierre-Nanterme

Well that was fast....
"The company announced that Nanterme stepped down as chairman and chief executive officer on Jan. 11, 2019 for health reasons."

As a former Arthur Andersen LP employee, Accenture was just an operating arm of said AA.  More a business solutions company than the accounting company of it's parent.

For Sir Creep's money, one of the most overrated and disappointing franchises around.  Truly unimpressive the 4 or 5 times I went there.  They don't exist south of Interstate 70 so no worries now.

It was better when they made the doughnuts onsite instead of bringing them in frozen.  I go there occasionally as I have gift cards to use up.

I'm sure that is true, how could it not be.  I'm a coffeeholic and it was ok, not great.  Their service is what bugged me, slow. Not just one location.  I dunno, maybe shite mgt in Michigan.  Just not a fan, maybe a better store I'd have had a better experience.

Watched a programme about the Channel Tunnel last night, and 85-year-old businessman James Sherwood looked like Bush Senior exhumed.

He did so much for the company including making more experimental films for the company during the 80s. He was also pretty involved in creating Touchstone Pictures and getting EPCOT up and running.
