Irene Pollin, a former co-owner of the Washington Capitals, Washington Wizards and Washington Mystics, has died.  She was 96. Pollin was the widow of Abe Pollin, who'd bought the Chicago Zephyrs NBA team in 1963, moved them to Baltimore and renamed them the Bullets. They later moved to Washington and, later still, were renamed the Wizards. In 1974, she was active in the founding of the NHL’s Washington Capitals. They won the Stanley Cup in 2018.

About 10 DDP players sigh and each remove him from their "sneaky unique pick" spot on the shortlist...

Donald Kendall, former head of PepsiCo, dead at 99.

Came up with Diet Pepsi, told Nixon to bomb Chile. Difficult to work out which of these is the bigger evil, tbh.
