Glad he will soon be dead. He ruined families and workers with his buying companies in order to raid their pension funds. Hope there is a hell.

I picked him for my B Team (and deathrace and hare’s) mainly because he was close to home for me and is interesting enough for him to warrant a spot on those teams. I also find him interesting since he’s one of the rare cases (as far as I’m concerned) of an Okie that’s says that oil wouldn’t be the best investment in the future, and was advocating for wind power instead...

Don't hold back, say how you really feel.
He's on my home league DP, so there's that.  I'll take what I can get.  I'm not convinced he's checking out quite yet.

So much for the obvious.
Originally suspected murder-suicide is now being looked at as simply double murder.

And puts his $250M ranch up for sale.

He seems a very calculated man (I have him in my personal DP).  I trust his actions  to be proactive and sensible.  He knows he's in his final 6 months.

Lonnie Allsup, the founder of Allsup's Convenience Stores, has died at the age of 84.  The Morton, Texas native and his wife started the convenience store business in Roswell back in 1956.   There are over 300 Allsup's Convenience Stores in 160 towns across Texas and New Mexico, according the company's website.

Sir Creep gasses up at the service stations all the time here in western Texas.  They also have the world's best bean/beef burritos, fwiw lol.

RIP Mr. Allsup.

Update on Bernard Tapie. He has lost 20 kilos, but what's more important, his cancer has metastasized and he is starting massive chemiotherapy to fight it.

:pop:

Hey, with him and Tsvangirai seemingly fucked, maybe it'll turn out to be a good thing that Dudley and Willow didn't make the starting line, as if they had I would have probably only gained 10 points due to Willow not obiting, and now I'm likely to pick up 15 points.

It is interesting the effects of Willow/Dudley. msc's main team got a net gain of 10 points since it only had Willow (his B-team saw a net loss of 3, but then, you don't want the B-team to do better!). If Sumner Redstone dies this year, gcreptile sees no net change, as two dead nonagenarians are equal in value to a fortysomething hit and a non-QO.

The B-team went down 3 points as Masekela subbed on for Dudley - the big loser there was YW, losing a unique joker! My bad.

Watching the BBC tribute to Hugh as we speak, actually.

I am sure he will get an obit in England. But the match fixing and high jinks with Marseille will probably take up more of it than his other business activities. That is when I first ever heard of him.
