Hospitalized for routine check-ups.

he's older than his father ever was, has had multiple hospitalisations, lost a child and legendary soccer players seem to drop like flies. A good one for within the next 3 years i'd reckon

His mother is still alive at 96. Who knows Pele might follow in her footsteps, I doubt it as I don’t think he is in the greatest health but you never know.

If he went, that would be Maradona, Muller and Pele gone in less than a year. Hell of a lot of goals there.

The removed tumor was a colon tumor found during those checkups. Says that he is "feeling very well" now.

Re-admitted to ICU according to ESPN Brasil

 

 

 

 

Supposedly merely as a precaution at the moment. He is 80 though and appears to gotten frailer in recent years
