Apparently, he is responding well to new treatment

What does it mean to respond well to end-of-life treatment?

I have absolutely no idea. It depends on how aggressive the cancer is as ro how long he will last.

My mother-in-law lasted about 6 months after she stopped her chemo.

I reckon he’ll “recover” and get discharged (collaterally causing drol to have a mental breakdown), be pictured leaving hospital in a wheelchair shortly before Christmas, then die quietly at home sometime in early 2023.

Now watch as he dies tomorrow. :P

According to Arsène Wenger, who has spoken with Pelé's agent, Pelé is not in danger and very surprised about the rumours circulating.

I’ll say this much, whether Pelé is on his way out or not, it seems obvious to me that his family wants some privacy as they clearly would rather not tell the public what’s going on. In which case, if it’s the case that he’s on his way out the person who leaked such news should really be ashamed for breaching said privacy. Yes, you can say that’s the cost of fame or what not, but just give them some space instead of letting the world know he’s on his way out. That is really a difficult time for them, and I think the coverage is only making it worse for them.

translation : before being taken to hospital, Pelé had covid, pulmonary snoring and heart failure. Covid is a new addition. Don’t know What he has but heart failure seems to come pretty much all the time.

What’s interesting is that they did confirm that he did have COVID there. I feel like they wouldn’t have publicized that if they weren’t hounded by the media 24/7

Yeah, but the difference is that no one really gives a shit if Rolf Harris dies.

I don't know, the economy could really do with a boost from all the parties that will happen to celebrate his demise.

He will die just before or after Brazil wins the World Cup this year.
