Bit cross about this one as I remember hearing her on DID where she spoke about her cancer and I made a mental note to follow it up but in the end she probably went too quickly. Would have been good for the Death by Numbers game.

John Adie, who founded the classical Two Moors Festival to help english farmers in despair after the foot-and-mouth epidemic, has died at 69:

I wonder if he died of a twomoor.... (yeah, that joke is why I posted it)

Liz Monks, fundraiser and charity leader dies of cancer at 45 or 46. I had her in my preliminary 2016 team, but maybe her doubtful obitability consoles me in the end:

'Fundraiser and charity leader' sounds like code for 'famous for being sick' like Lauren Hill. DISALLOWED lol

To her credit (or mine?), she was already fundraising before she got sick, for the Alzheimer's society. Maybe a first brush with breast cancer made her then fundraise for that? I don't know, though she died of a different cancer.

According to http://www.theguardian.com/society/2000/nov/13/publicsectorcareers.voluntarysectorshe was a fundraiser for 20 years already. Ah well, let's see if the Guardian obit appears within a couple of days. I thought I might have a new Denise Marshall here.

She was fundraising for a medical condition that she would fall victim to 20 years later?? What do u take me for!? Either that or this needs to be posted in Ironic Deaths if I'm to believe she was unaware of her condition.

I had Liz Monks as a possible for 2016 but I thought she was just a few too many steps divorced from the top of her organisation to get the Guardian public sector obit. Let's see how it goes.

Taken tragically too early!

At least he seemed to have stayed busy up to the end, has some projects in the works so maybe he's only partly dead and not most sincerely dead.

Sir David Murray, take note, instead of robbing more from the pension fund.

He was also a producer on a couple of Guy Ritchie films.

So he made sheets, and sheet.
