Told you ! This wasn't so much the "I agree with Nick" debate as it was the "I agree with Nicola" debate! A person who has run a nation, but spoke like an ordinary person. Cameron has run a nation but looked like he was sneering down his nose at the other leaders, while wanting to go for a poo...only he can pull that off. Miliband and Cameron are both tainted by government, Clegg looks like he will lose his seat on that performance. Farage can only gain. Whether there is any bounce in Wales for Plaid, I don't know. And by introducing such colossal cuts (especially to stuff like legal aid) while hiding behind his call me Dave, "look at my Blairy, oh-so-care-y hand gestures" act, he has legitimised a "nastiness" that none of us would have thought was coming in 2009. So..... yeah. I don't believe people would be less comfortable with other Tories as leader. Aye, he's wasted on running the country, the man's a born dead pooler! My MP is Vernon Coaker (shadow defense sec') and he would have torn David Cameron to shreds had he been in Ed's shoes. What a shame this Wallace and Gromit look-a-like is not going to produce a major outright win. Also can't understand how elder brother David lost to this geek guy. Even International Rescue can't help him now... For me, I loved the three gals standing on the glass ceiling, rarther than never breaking through it. Bibliogryphon 8,653 Posted April 7, 2015 I watched the TV debate but I must have missed the ones that all the journalists wrote about on Friday morning. I thought Newspapers were meant to report the news not act as mouthpieces for whichever political party they feel like sucking up to at that particular time. Each debater was speaking to a particular group which didn't seem to be the don't knows. The best piece of evidence for that was the snap poll that said 20% of respondents thought Nigel Farage performed best but an equal number thought he performed worst. Nicola Sturgeon did perform well she spoke confidently and expressed some popular ideas. What I hope Ed Miliband takes from this is that there is an attraction to including some socialist policies. But... the Labour party's policy is to merely "reduce" tuition fees from £9,000 to £6,000........ so apparently he doesn't mind them having to take on two-thirds of a lifetime of debt? Gormless. I haven't got a suitable outfit to go collecting the ten signatures I'd need nor the £500 deposit that I'd almost certainly not recuperate. The latter being the greater stumbling block.
