Some protestors yesterday evening staged a Die-In outside Dominic Cummings’ house, playing dead across his road while holding signs telling him how much of a cunt he is.

Oh yeah, absolutely bollocks all point in what they’re doing really...aside from the amusing thought of ole Daddy Cumcums looking out the window with a bewildered expression like “Erm, Mary darling, what the fuck’s...how long’s that been there?”

Would have been more effective and macabre if they'd been covered with sheets like proper dead bodies.

Apparently, some of them were his neighbours....

Some people complain about their nuisance neighbours...maybe they play their shit music too loud, maybe their dog barks like a twat, maybe they fuck too loud, maybe they bawl down the phone like there’s no tomorrow, maybe they smoke skunk in the garden, but nobody thinks of the people who’s neighbour is Dominic Cummings and they have to live with the pressure of trying not to hit him with a hammer.

So my trip through the city today was heavily impacted by the global shitshow.

Graffiti about police violence and "G. Floyd keep fighting". Traffic disruptions because of demonstrations, the overcrowded "silent demo" clashing with the anti-Corona / Corona-conspiracy demos. Our nazis are having a "White Lives Matter" demonstration.

Why are we importing America's problems? Especially now?

And this .....

(Enter the Prime Minister, smartly dressed in scruffy white shirt and baggy jeans, sitting behind picnic table, as if conducting job interview…)

Dominic Cummings:
I’ve been asked to give a statement. So here it is. “I did nothing wrong. The media are to blame. I have no regrets. Now fuck off.” Oh no, I was told to cut that last bit. Right, that’s it. Any questions? Oh, no, hang on, it’s not that bit yet. I’ve got to read you this very, very long and plausible alibi involving my desperately ill wife, my vulnerable child, a terror threat to my home, my elderly parents and selfless nieces, my tragic loss of eyesight, bluebells, toilet stops, historic landmarks and an invasion by aliens. Oh no, we agreed to drop the aliens as they sounded too plausible. Anyway, on March 27th I did nothing wrong. On March 28th I made the decision to do nothing wrong again. For the next nine days I did nothing wrong. Once or twice during that time period I may have done nothing wrong. I continued to do nothing wrong until April 12th, when we decided it was time to do nothing wrong…

(Cummings continues for nearly an hour, using humble, sincere voice that no one has ever heard before…)

Cummings: Right, that’s it. End of. Anyone from the media want to defend why they misreported all of this and whipped up public sentiment against me when I did nothing wrong? Laura from the BBC? Still existing, is it?...

Whether you agree with the tactics or not, there might be a reason why other countries are protesting with people in the United States...

Not the most strategic of moves one would think. Willingly putting Patel into the long grass doesn't seem like a good idea then again it is Bojo and Dom we're talking about here

She shouldn't be sacked for not backing fucking Cummings. She should be sacked for being an absolutely rancorous human being.

Agree 100% but we all know that's why she was put there. Purely from a strategically point of view it's a big mistake to forcibly put her on the back benches. She's one of the few of the current crew who wouldn't be afraid to knife Bojo but wouldn't necessarily do it from the front bench (yet)  (Keep your  friends close and your enemies closer etc..)

Yeah I'd agree with that. Same reason why Twanker Gove is Minister for the Cabinet Office. It is amusing how quickly this government appears to have started kicking its own head in.

Is it just me or does anyone else get the feeling that Priti Patel cares a lot more a bout a lump of metal commemorating a slave trader than she does about the lives of innocent black people who have been the victims of racist beatings and killings?

Is it just me or is anybody else getting pissed off with the social media circlejerk that castes off anyone who's against holding protests in the middle of a global public health crisis and pandemic as some kind of dyed in the wool BNP voter?

I'm a socialist, I've voted Labour/Green Party all my life, why should I be caste off and treat like some kind of right wing nutter and as a racist for thinking protests during a pandemic are the wrong thing to do?

I think it is more the double standards at play. It is our right to hold a BBQ go to the beach etc

But ooooh a protest don't you know there is a health emergency

Then target the people going to the beach, not those of us on virtual house arrest who think even more badly of beach-goers than the protesters but would quite like both to stop so we can go back to normal life at some point.
