She nearly collapsed AGAIN. In the video she tumbled on an audience member and then is promptly cut off. 2. Mrs. Williams is also taking 3 weeks off work at her show to deal with hypothyroidism and Graves' disease. As for her recent tumble, some speculate this repeated occurrance of collapsing on stage could be due to her extreme diet, her struggle with her husband's affair, or perhaps she relapsed on coke which she was well publicized for doing in the 90's and 2000's. Wendy Williams to spend a significant time in hospital and takes extended leave, according to this: https://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/wendy-williams-to-take-health-related-break-from-tv-show-will-spend-significant-time-in-hospital

charon 4,943 Posted March 6, 2019 Well, having a look, and she's only the second of the 15 to go that appeared on Extreme Celebrity Detox 15 years ago, after Tony Wilson. The 13 left are all pretty much 'Presenters' and are: Dominik Diamond Jilly Goolden Catherine McQueen Jack Osbourne Brandon Block Carol Harrison Rebecca Loos Normski James Brown Lisa I'Anson Rowland Riveron Mina Anwar Jo Guest. Guessing Rowland most likely to go next.

She's yet another person I've worked with. Though she often drove us to despair by ringing in five minutes before we were due to close with 1500 words of copy, she was always nice, polite and interesting. (Making me feel really old, I was pretty much the only person out of the 'youngsters' who worked there who knew who she was and her background). Always felt she was probably more talented than what she achieved, but I guess addiction at the height of her fame put paid to that. RIP.

Agree with that, she had that screen look of total cool to a teenage lad like myself at the time and Rough Guides ignited a love for travel in me which has endured. For that alone she deserves to be remembered fondly and a lot of my school friends have commented on social media that she did much the same to them. I think I’ve read today that she was hung out to dry with her addiction rather than today when rehab is thrown about almost as a badge of honour. Rest peacefully.
