I will stop bumping the Rumours thread on this, as it is becoming much more solid.

Reports, though from some less reputable websites, saying the "Wendy Williams Show" has been cancelled due to the hosts health issues. I tend to believe these unconfirmed reports given everything else we have heard over the last few months. Time will tell.

There was a video that was posted online of her last week. People magazine makes a big point, maybe too big, about how in the clip, she repeatedly gives her age as 56, though she is 57. Either this is a misspeak (as her publicist says), she is just lying about her age (by only one year?), or this is an older video and her team is posting it to downplay concerns about her health. But the article also points out that there's a moment where she talks about where her mother lives, present tense, even though she died in 2020.

Bob Wellings popped up on that Dennis Nilsen programme tonight (archive footage); he's still alive and will be 88 later this year.

Bob Wellings sadly didn't make it to 88. Apparently health took a downturn after a fall at the end of 2021. https://www.itv.com/news/anglia/2022-03-04/former-anglia-tv-presenter-bob-wellings-dies

Elsa Klensch, who, for 20 years, hosted and produced the program Style with Elsa Klensch on CNN, has died.

Klensch joined CNN at the network’s launch in 1980, hosting the global fashion series until it was canceled in 2001. The half hour program aired on weekends while individually produced segments were broadcast on weekdays. For a time in the 1980s it was CNN’s highest-rated weekend feature-news program.

Bob Hall, former ITVCentral sports presenter, has died. A familiar presence on Midlands TV screens until unceremoniously dumped; he seemed to have migrated to Sky a few years back.

Barring accidents, I can't see any of these dying in the next ten years, with the possible exception of Sarah Kennedy (she doesn't have a drink problem y'know). They all seem fit and healthy and working (so put 'em all down for 2016).

Raising this again.

Obvs Stewpot and Daniels are dead, how Henry Kelly survives, I dunno.

Anyway, it came as a surprise to see an article today (bot generated) on Sarah Kennedy's "death" - I think there was vandalism on her Wiki some time ago, but that was never proved. I'm not aware of even rumours recently about the old hermit. Odd it popped up though, there's normally summat that sparks these off.

Skidmore gets a full Telegraph obit.

Thanks.  Has he ever been a DDP pick? It would be a shame if he wasn't as he was a key ingredient  in a culturally iconic show back in the day.
