Matthew Perry looks great in the new friends episode trailer, but could be just that they've put a lot of makeup on him. Matt LeBlanc has become larger and gray.

Not watched the trailer but that still doesn't look great. I know he is my contemporary and I would say he look more like 60 than 50

Mark York (IMDb), American actor who starred in the U.S. version of The Office as Billy Merchant, dead at 55 after an “illness”.

No other details given other than the fact it was relatively sudden.

Correct. It was late when I posted and I just searched “sitcoms”.

Probably worth retitling the thread "American Sitcoms".  The date isn't really relevant, is it.

I hope the guest stars don't take up too much time in it. It's going to have a load of celebrities that haven't been in the show such as Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, korean pop boy band BTS, Mindy Kaling (???), Kit Harington (GOT star), James Corden, some supermodels and David Beckham.

And some unexpected returning actors:

Larry Hankin will also appear despite his character dying in the show.

And the Geller parents: Their actors are Christina Pickles who is now 86 and Elliot Gould who is now 82.

However the most suprising guest star, atleast in my opinion is Malala Yousafzai, 2014 Nobel Peace Prize winner and Pakistani activist.

What is all the fuss. It was a shite comedy.  Age well (the comedy, not the people)? Not in the least. Unless Perry's teeth (excuse me I am out of my face on novacaine or somesuch because my orthowotsit says I have to be) kill him in the next week, the rest are fine. But Courtney is always gorgeous from the Springsteen video.

I loved The Love Boat as a wee boy. Sad to see him sail into the sunset.

Wasn’t even his real name.  He’s the only person who wasn’t a McLeod who VOLUNTEERED to be one!  He left his wife, found out the grass wasn’t greener, and re-married her.  Quite a life.  No bouy could save him.

Reports on Twitterpunchclock that Frank Bonner, probably best known for playing Herb Tarlek in WKRP In Cincinnatti, has died. Awaiting confirmation, but seems to have come from his daughter.
