I used to like Big Train.

Commentary by Barry Davies & Mark Heap, IIRC.

It was one of my favourite parts of the show.

Yes, I'm a twat.

Peter Scolari, best known for starring with Tom Hanks in Bosom Buddies (that shows theme song was a cover version of Billy Joel’s My Life) dead at 66

So sad! Big fan of Newhart! Interestingly enough, there was a reunion of the surviving cast of The Bob Newhart Show and Newhart in May where Peter Scolari was noticeably missing.

Donna Dixon was certainly worth staring at on Bosom Buddies. She later married Dan Aykroyd.

It has been revealed that James Michael Tyler who played Gunther from Friends has stage 4 prostate cancer and it is most likely terminal. From recent interviews he cannot walk anymore as the cancer has spread to his bones and he is now in a wheelchair. He was diagnosed in September of 2018. He didn't attend the most recent Friends reunion in person due to this.

Interview June 2021:

I'm guessing this is probably fake news, given not widely reported:

James Michael Tyler is either very much alive or not. I'd have thought the real Mr Bright would have more followers...

I mean, it's all very odd. Everything looks right yet nobody is breaking it. A hack on the rarely used account?

Well, if his manager says it... ;)

One of those times you hate to be right. Sweet rest Gunther, and may many Rachels fly you to your rest.

Go on, give it a go.
