That Portillo Moment

Recommended Posts

Possibly, I doubt Amber "I Can't Be Drawn On That" Rudd (bad news for portrait painters everywhere!) is in danger.

Ian Duncan "I have many untaxable bedrooms" Smith would be hilarious. Stephen Crabb though? Welsh Labour surge....

I get the feeling no big heads will roll. All the big names are in safe seats and especially as the polls have narrowed it doesn`t look like a Labour bloodbath will be forthcoming.

I think Clegg is a definite goner.

Clegg will be safe as houses. Labour vote over inflated last time due to a number of conditions which don't exist now in Hallam.

As I think there will be a Tory majority of c 140-160, there will be a number of Labour defeats. Which would put Liz Kendall and Tom Watson at risk, especially if some folk with lesser majorities (Jess Philips) might survive due to Lib Dem vote crash in that seat.

Amber Rudd in trouble?

Ah well, she needs some time off after all the previous tragedies in her life recently. I don't mean that nastily by the way, in a way I feel she's had a hard time.

Theresa May was a right cunt making her do that debate (in place of Theresa May) the day after her dad died.

I'm not at all Tory, but even I thought that was a right low blow.

Tom Watson and Mhairi Black are first on the list and both re-elected.

Justine Greening would have been a hell of a Portillo moment - 10000+ majority down to 1500!!! #close

Nothing like the loss for Danczuk, but probably contender for hit of the night. I Knew he was gone.
