@rockhopper - John Boakes, UKIP Candidate in Thirsk and Malton died during the GE campaign in 2010 and delayed the election by a couple of weeks.

Don't have time for serious research, so here's the first 30 members of parliament I can think of without resorting to google (I tried doing this with constituencies but could only muster up 20).

  1. Dennis Skinner
  2. Jacob Rees-Mogg
  3. Zac Goldsmith
  4. Chris Bryant
  5. Yvette Cooper
  6. Ed Miliband
  7. Gerald Kaufman
  8. Angus Young
  9. Mahri Black
  10. David Davis
  11. Tristram Hunt
  12. Mary Creagh
  13. Theresa May
  14. Ronnie Campbell
  15. Sharon Hodgson
  16. David Anderson
  17. Liam Byrne
  18. Phillip Hammond
  19. Boris Johnson
  20. Nadine Dorries
  21. Nicholas Soames
  22. Jeremy Corbyn
  23. Stephen Kinnock
  24. Hilary Benn
  25. Margaret Hodge
  26. Norman Lamb
  27. Eric Pickles
  28. Sally Bercow
  29. John Bercow
  30. Yvette Cooper

I accept your entry but I will need at least one other name as Sally Bercow may be many things but not a sitting MP.

There's a good joke in there somewhere but potentially libellous.

Oh, don't know why I thought she was. You're pushing my limits of MPs I can name off the top of me head now; Liz Kendall. There we go.

More likely one of his close relations.

Just in time with Liz. I am off to China see you in a week or so.

Oh bugger. Can I bring Tim Farron in as a substitute.

That's right just give away your tactics like a free sample of PG Tips.

I've already submitted my not entirely serious team. Another tip is look at those staying behind during the Queens Speech, some may be doing it to save health rather than due to anti-monarchists and anti-house of lords sentiment, although good luck finding them amid the hoard of SNP, Lib Dem, Irish Nats Green and backbench Labourites

Tim accepted as substitute.

As far as I know AC/DC front man has not had a career change. I have given you Angus Robertson but the is also Angus MacNeill.

So there are now six teams on the board and I am pleasently surprised by the range of entries. One think that it has made me think is that some of our constituencies have very silly names.

Most of them are derived from silly place names though...

I've often wanted East Dunbartonshire constituency to change its name to one including "Milngavie", just for the poor English BBC journalists to try and pronounce.

Eight teams are lined up at the starting tape now.

Back at wrork today so I wasn't able to watch the Queen's speech to see who looked ill, rebellious, guilty or ambitious.

I am expecting a flurry of teams to come in now.

Of course it may be the case some MPs won't last until my arbitary starting date.

If you have not yet submitted a team but intend to could you let me know either here or in the PM.

Many thanks.

Database filled with all eight teams (although one team needs a replacement)

Everyone who has submitted a team already should have had a reply to their DM.

Apart from Deathray who was happy to share his team on the forum.

Well I looked up the first name and it was Daniel Zeichner so I was gonna go with "Most Jewish-sounding MPs" but then the 2nd down was a Scottish constituency so forget it.

I "give up" (as though I cared anyway).

No wait, it's a Labour guy at the top then half the rest must be SNP, is it MPs with most recorded death threats to Netanyahu?
