It's nice to see aznavour back on the list (though he seems to be in good shape), mainly because it improves the chance to see Leo Beenhakker back on the list in a few years.

Mickey Rooneys death reduces 2 more years 1998 and 2003 to just one survivor.Looks like we're finally going to get a clean sweep soon!

I'm sorry, did you just say Gabor would die? Have you had any fresh air lately, Davey?

The only person out of 779 passengers and crew to survive the Struma ship sinking has died at 91. What a lucky guy! http://www.haaretz.c...remium-1.588948

.........and which year since 1987 has he been listed on the Deathlist.....??? Nope, didn't think so!

It looks like we could be hours or at most days away from finally acheiving the breakthrough we've all been waiting for all those years- a clean sweep on at least one of the lists- Jaruzelski has had a massive stoke and is barely hanging on.. http://www.courierma...t-1226916625515

Get the champagne bottles ready deathlisters!

Looking at that list barring Doris Day reaching Luise Rainer longetivity or Ian Brady lasting to his 90's 2013-2012 are likely to hit 0 in a shorter time then any other years.

It was Shaun Ryder, lead singer of the British group Happy Mondays! (and all-around nutter/shambles).

I guess they were expecting him to overdose on pills or whatever at the height of his Madchester fame. You must be an American, right?

Check out their songs "Kinky Afro" and "Step on" on youtube or whatever and have a good time.

I quite like old Shaun. I once possessed a pair of sunglasses that he had left on a bus.

Worse, German. The only band I know out of the Madchester list that Wikipedia gives me, is 808 State because they had a duet with Björk. Oh, and the Stone Roses because they had one officially great album (that I never listened to) and one disappointing second album.

And I though that WInona Ryder might also be on the list because of a possible overdose.

I don't honestly think most people on our side of the pond would really be able to match her name to her face until that incident where she tried to stuff the entire contents of L.A. Fashion Week into her purse and stagger out the door with it - which I'm shocked to see, after looking on Wikipedia, that was actually in 2001 when I thought it was in like the mid-90s or something. Also I'm not sure if she had any drug problems that early on. If she did I doubt anyone knew about them.
