Death Impends 7,992 Posted January 1, 2019 Here's a go for this year. Kirk Douglas Herman Wouk Olivia de Havilland Bob Dole Katherine Johnson Prince Philip Sumner Redstone Tim Conway Leah Bracknell Ruthie Tompson Vera Lynn I. M. Pei Harry Reid David Koch Francoise Gilot Bob Barker Mikhail Gorbachev Gershon Kingsley Jean-Louis Trintignant Henry Kissinger Pope Benedict XVI Lee Kerslake Kathleen Blanco Joanne Woodward Robert Mugabe Sidney Poitier Carol Channing Dilip Kumar Jimmy Carter Terry Jones Clive James Jean Grand Duke of Luxembourg Jim Leavelle Jim Lovell James McCord Gaston Glock Bart Starr John Paul Stevens Glynis Johns Larry Storch Dean Stockwell Doris Day Betty White Desmond Tutu Bob Hawke F. W. de Klerk Nehemiah Persoff Dave Bartholomew Jacques Chirac Wilford Brimley ETA with the revelation on Jan 30 that Morton Sobell died late December, I threw Kissinger (one of the names I had last year, but dropped) on the list. If this list were part of an actual deadpool I'd take the L and deal with a non-starter among the 50, but feel it doesn't really violate deadpool ethics to replace someone dead for a month on a list that isn't actually part of any competition. ETA James McCord died in 2017. Now that it's April I'm just going to have to deal with a squad of 49.

TQR 14,404 Posted January 21, 2019 First hit of the year. DL 0-1 Quim. Kind of goes against my normal picks in terms of how widely known they are, but he's a DL forum icon so I couldn't resist. Sadly, the Seer was going to be my joker in the DL Cup, so that's pissed me off.

Joey Russ 7,229 Posted March 19, 2019 Well, it has been really slow in terms of shadow list worthy names in general (I’m also still at 0 and I’m sure there’s others at 0 too). I think only a couple names that could be considered shadow list worthy have even died. Now, it’s likely that it’ll pick up the pace by the end of the year, so I wouldn’t worry about that yet... Prophet 251 Posted April 23, 2019 I didn't count my hits for some months now, but in the last days I got two hits with Le Duc Anh (who was for the first time on my Shadowlist) and Jean from Luxemburg (he was for the second time on my Shadowlist).
