Shadow Lists

Recommended Posts

Zhou Youguang was my 2nd hit, and we're only a fortnight into the year.

What's interesting is that my first couple of hits were #2 and #10 - just like in 2015 (Sam Simon and King Abdullah). The problem is in 2015 I ended with a grand total of 6.

P.S. I would have been at 4 hits if I hadn't dropped Clare Hollingworth and Zygmunt Bauman at the last minute. :banghead:

John Hurt is, very sadly, the first hit on my personal Shadowlist.

Didn't pick him for anything else - simply can't believe he's gone. :(

yes im not sure what happened to that actor. for example, if John was hurt

i do have a list for this year but wont bother sharing now. i can say that (to my knowledge/of top of my head) all (10) are alive. My number does vary from year to year though. I think, for 2018 I will have an unlucky 13 list (post on december 31st)

Colin Dexter is my third hit. I'm not sure how to edit signatures since the upgrade though.

I am at 10 hits with Soares, Youguang, Snuka, Tyler Moore, Corey, Van Der Westhuizen, Sumner, Rockefeller, Brady, and Fresco. Only one female on my shadow list has died out of the 12 on my shadow list. Looking for at least 20 hits by the end of the year.

First year of this and I'm one ahead. I'll take that! Especially given my rule that, if I don't know the person or feel the person isn't well known enough, they're vetoed from my list.

QR 6 - 5 DL

My first year and I'm tied with the Deathlist 5-5 at the moment. It was 4-4 for about a month and a half but I had Noakes on my list. I'm hoping for over 12 but I'll be happy to just beat 10 for my first year.

I think I have a solid list for 2018 already. It's getting to that point where it's hard to make room for new people who fall ill because every spot is full.
