Before I started deadpooling I had never heard of him. Whilst Royalty is a legitimate pick there was always someone more famous.

Of my four hits, the only one I hadn't known before was the most Deathlisty one, Diana Athill.

Finally get my 1st hit of 2019, starting to think it was never going to happen

Got my second hit in less than 3 weeks with the sad passing of Doris Day. Maybe I won't turn out to be too much of a calamity Jane after all with this Shadow List.

Up to three on mine with the death of Doris (Number 1 on my list for no particular reasons  - they are others on my list I expected to go before her simply for being older or with known serious illnesses.

For the first time this year, I have taken the lead against the main list with the death of Unita Blackwell. Thought she would be a given for some obits. Wouldn't have had her on the list otherwise, but I'll take it regardless.

I know it is still early days and with 5 of my shadow list (Doris Day, Grand Duke of Luxembourg, Herman Wouk, Freddie Jones and John McCririck) no longer with us but just wanted to ask of the remaining 45 how many of those could I put on a shadow list for 2020?

Hi! I usually only carry-over 25 names from the previous year. The Deathlisters for the main list on the front page only carry-over 25 names from the previous year. Of course  you can send in an entirely new list with no repeat names.:)
