Shadow Lists

Recommended Posts

Thought André Maranne would be No.11. But Buydens bought it first. Then Norm. Then Dilip. Then a Girl Aloud. I’m now over double what the Official DL is at, ahead of my scores at the end of ‘17 and ‘18 and tied with ‘19.

Death of Gottfried Bohm takes me into double figures for the year. Movement on my Shadow List has been quite slow recently. :old: But perhaps things will start to LIVEN up now.

Finally time to update it.

12th hit came in July (insert complaint about inactivity here), and I must've missed Olympia Dukakis in May.

Cicely Tyson (29th January)

Tom Moore (2nd February)

Christopher Plummer (5th February)

George Schultz (7th February)

Rush Limbaugh (17th February)

Murray Walker (13th March)

Beverly Cleary (27th March)

Prince Philip (9th April)

Walter Mondale (20th April)

Olympia Dukakis (10th May)

Norman Lloyd (11th May)

Renee Deneuve (11th July)

DP: 12
DL: 7 (snore)

Is there a generic shadow list tracker / competition on Deathlist? This thread is a little informal

This is just to really share Shadow Lists and compare to the performance of the committee.

There are more competitive versions such as Deathlist Correctlist and Deathlist Prediction Game

Assuming they both run in 2022 and then of course there is the Crwodsourced Deathlist where a democratically elected Deathlist goes head to head with the committee

I get why you've answered with those three, I did win the first DL Prediction Game!

Not sure if the idea I was referring to would be redundant and would receive backlash if I made a thread for a more formal shadow deathlist competition, but it's something I'd want to see.

If you run it the people will come (or not)

Question for long-time Shadow Listers, what the hell do you do at this point if you find out one of your people died... in 2014?

Edit: I searched "James Brady" instead of "James Baker". Sigh.
