Connie Sawyer is a 103 years old

you know someone is ancient when they are cast as "old woman" in 1984 and still knocking around!

I discovered her though don't steal my credit

Credit duly noted to both gentlemen for prior mentions of Connie Sawyer. Just thought she'd make for an interesting topic of her own.

Sag? :scratchhead:

Do you mean she's the oldest member of Saga? It's nice to know someone that old is still going on coach holidays. I can fix the thread title for you if you'd like.

Actually, it's SAG - Screen Actors Guild - and yes, if you could correct the thread title to SAG instead of Sag, that would be great!

I have heard of her but literally only through extensive Dead pooling research. All I ever found from my research was the odd bit part role.I think there are actresses past the 100 mark who are more notable (just about) such as Mary Carlisle Lupita Tovar and Patricia Morrison but even they are fairly obscure names.

BREAKING NEWS: A 14-year old boy claims to have discovered a woman who has already been in the public eye for over 60+ years.

What's next, you'll see some mysterious stones at Salisbury Plain and call it your discovery too?

I missed noting her birthday late last month but "Happy 103rd Birthday: Tuning In to the oldest still working Jewish actress - Connie Sawyer has no plans to retire. Why should she when she turns a remarkable 103 years old this month (November 27th) and still answers the fan mail she gets and the callbacks that still come for film, TV and commercial work."

Awful, awful thread.

Anyway, Connie's dead.

If this is true, R.I.P to a great actress with a great career. I've only seen her in Dumb n Dumber and The Office (US). Also, because I think this forum knows my fetish for actresses from the 30s, 40s, etc, she was a gorgeous woman especially in her young years!
