Derby Dead Pool 2006

Recommended Posts

Who did you select for your joker?

If, you don't mind, I'm going to hold off naming him until the entries are in -just in case someone else chooses him. 1st Jan, I promise I will tell all - hell, if it isn't up on DDP already by then, I'll post me whole list.

No problem. I understand. There are already over 150 entries for next year, so it is going to be some very stiff competition among the teams.

Delurking (and registering) to say good luck to all in the 2006 pool, hopefully the Snuff Daddies can emerge from the middle of the pack this year. My entry has been sent so I can stop scanning the wires for the latest hospital admissions.

I'm RIGHT looking forward to DDP 06....

2005 was my first attempt....and I'm hopeful of scoring better this year . However , a couple of my surefire unique picks are (I fear) going to be picked up by sicker and sadder people than me who scan the local news 24/7....

Damn! Everyone's in front of me. :o

Just a minute, young man. I'll have you know that I have a paltry 16 points with 3 hits (including joker) and am at position 67.

I take it that the DL band of complainers will be ready to point out any faults or mistakes?

I imagine it takes a while to find pictures of all the obscure new people that have been picked.

Must be a lot of work involved. They have my admiration for their efforts.
