Facebook post reporting the death of Michael Butler (wiki) at the age of 95.

Theatre producer behind “Hair”.

Edit: I see he was on Richard Nixon’s enemies list. Can’t be many survivors from that list surely? Would make an interesting thread if anyone can be bothered.

Off the top of my head, Daniel Ellsberg of the Pentagon Papers fame is still alive, born 1931. A few theme teams have him on the DDP, cert obit when he goes. He was def on the master list of political foes that made Gerald Ford quip that "anyone who needs to keep a list of their enemies has too many"!

Bill Cosby, Jane Fonda, Gene Hackman, Joe Namath, Barbra Streisand and Tom Smothers are all still alive from Nixon's "showbiz" enemies list.

Can’t be that many adults from any of the original productions of the five main Rodgers and Hammerstein musicals. Imagine they are a fair few kids from South Pacific and particularly the Sound of Music and King and I still around through.

Wiki doesn't have a list of the other children from the 1959 cast of SoM, but Lauri Peters is apparently alive. I have the cast recording album somewhere in my collection...

It’s on Apple and Amazon music but I couldn’t get the full listings to show. After a google search it seems Kathy a Dunn was Louisa. Evanna Lien was Gretl, :Mary Susan Locke was Marta, Marylyn Rodgers was Brigitta, William Snowden was Friedrich and Joseph Stewart was Kurt.

Lauri Peters could well get a Q/O when she goes for her role in Summer Holiday and being the ex wife of Jon Voight.

I know all the IRL Vonne Trappe kids are dead - I met the (then) living ones probably close to 15 years ago under awkward circumstances.

I mostly remember his role in Friends, where he plays Mr Waltham, Rachel’s superior and Emily’s uncle, appearing in 2 episodes.
