I can believe it was her real name given that she was recorded as "Lenora" in the 1930 census. Adding on to what LWCZ said there's an Eleanora R Calsaretti in the PA marriage index. The general area seems right, too (last address was in Philadelphia). 1

Seems like after her 15 minutes were over she made a specific effort to stay out of the public eye, perhaps not wanting to tell future children "I was famous for having fat tits". There is a Francine Gottfried still alive living in Flushing, New York but she was born in 1945 not 1947. Is her DOB correct? Plus I don't know her husband, if? @tracy can you correct me if I'm wrong?
tracy 2,389 Posted February 12, 2023 I looked at Francine Gottfried briefly. I imagine that unless her exact DOB can be narrowed down, it's probably fruitless to search for her given that she probably lives under another name now. This says she was just shy of turning 21 in September 1968, so I wouldn't think she's the 1945 one.
Ulitzer95 12,463 Posted February 13, 2023 Thanks @LWCZ / @tracy. It's good that I have one marriage record now, even if it doesn't appear to be the right one (I'm guessing she was married multiple times). I've seen the 2010 death record in the past. Annoying that we can't prove that it's her.
tracy 2,389 Posted February 13, 2023 I wonder if this familysearch contributor would know? There's an email attached, might be worth checking out ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Quote It was well known in our family that Joe Calzaretta never married. But (surprise) he did marry the love of his life, Eleanor Di Sipio in 1946! Born in Philadelphia, she was known to family and friends as Ellie. She was also known as the popular singer in the 1950's and 1960's as Jodie Sands, who sang on American Bandstand and in local nightclubs like the Latin Casino in Cherry Hill New Jersey. This is where I met Jodie Sands sometime in the 1950's, and referred to her as my "Aunt". The marriage didn't last and Joe was not happy. I think it was because she wanted a career, and marriage wasn't for her. Joe and Ellie kept in touch until death. Joe loved Ellie his whole life.

Commtech Sio Bibble 2,014 Posted February 14, 2023 Can anyone find me anything on Actor Frank Crompton (IMDb). No date of birth or death on IMDb or any other site that I can see, IMDb also has him listed as having been a crew member on a 1922 film which, considering that his acting credits don't start til the 70s, is quite likely an error. A quick search in the British Newspaper Archive reveals he had a stage role in a production of South Pacific in April 1956. He played the character Louis Billis. The casting age for that character is normally 30s/40s so likeliness is he's long dead.

ThereWillBeDeaths7 718 Posted March 6, 2023 Does anyone have a guess as to if actress Matyelok Gibbs (IMDb) is still alive, if so how old she would be? I can't find a birthdate but given the picture below she should be at least mid-70's, however I wasn't able to find when it was taken which means she might be quite a bit older. Her first acting credit on IMDb seems to be an episode of Vision On in 1964, however her second credit is given in 1981 so the first date might be wrong? She later on appeared in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows pt. 1 (2010) as Auntie Muriel and in Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy (2011) as Mrs Pope Graham; with no acting credits found after 2014. Lives in London. Can't find an age because that appears to be a stage name. Talent agency still lists her here so still about but likely retired. Given that she played a Weasley in a Harry Potter film I doubt her death would go unnoticed.

A comment on this youtube video from six months ago claims M. Rajan died in 2018, and I think it's unlikely whoever wrote the comment is lying: M.Rajan's real name is Rajan Malhotra. His elder brother Roshanlal Malhotra was a financer and producer. He launched him as a hero in 1952 but non of his films could do well on box office. He played villains role in V.Shanram film Sehra and in Jab yaad kisiki aati hai. In both the films he gave justice but since he was very self respected he didn't go to any directors and begged roles. As a result he couldn't get expected roles. He then became character actor.Janjir,Inkar,Adalat Hum nahi sudharenge etc are his some movies. He was equally tall to Amitabh Bachchan. I asked you tube where about him but couldn't get answer For a unofficial report he died in 2018 at age of 94.He was a batchelor.A good personality hero but least known actor.Film industry forgot him due to his limited contribution.
Commtech Sio Bibble 2,014 Posted March 11, 2023 Was watching Fury from the Deep and fell back down the Bill Burridge rabbit hole. Burridge (IMDb) plays the character of Mr Quill in the 1968 Doctor Who serial but his credits aren't limited to just that. Work has been done before on other websites to try and find out what happened to him, but he's seemingly never been mentioned here. What is known (or not known) The BBC has apparently been previously contacted about him and he has apparently died but no date was given (however this statement hasn't been proven). Based on this there's speculation that he died in 1975 as someone with the same name died that year and his last TV credit was 1973, but again there isn't proof of this being him. Doctor Who Magazine doesn't seem to have reported his death at any point. His date of birth is sadly not know, making search efforts harder. Can anyone here find any thing concrete on this enigma of a man. This has been bugging me for a while and any help would be greatly welcome.
msc 18,402 Posted March 11, 2023 I take it you know from Dr Who forums that Equity put out an SOS for his contact details so his royalties could be paid for him in 1976, and kept it doing it each year for a while, without response from him or anyone who knew him. In 2005, Equity did another attempt to search for Burridge, having kept his money for him, and it went to a dead end too. According to frequent Pertwee era extra Terrence Denville in this book, Bill Burridge was working an extra on Frontier in Space (Roger Delgado's last Dr Who, fact fans) when he suffered a near fatal seizure due to an allergic reaction, and had to move directly into a nursing home. It seems like he died within a few years of this, but without friends or family to contact Equity and possibly not even under the name Bill Burridge. Sorry, basically - that's as much as folk with far better links than I have got! 1

It does seem quite likely that he was the man who died in 1975, you don't get many Burridges and the timeline of events lines up almost perfectly.

Commtech Sio Bibble 2,014 Posted March 12, 2023 What the book says "I also remember a rather odd but likeable character called Bill Burridge who was made us as an alien with metallic greasepaint. This got into his bloodstream via a small cut and he later had some sort of brain seizure. He never worked again, and ended up in a home. As far as I know he never had any compensation from the BBC, but he was the kind of man who never complained or stood up for his rights" Based on that I wouldn't be surprised if the BBC tried to cover it up as they basically killed him.
