There is a Francine Gottfried still alive living in Flushing, New York but she was born in 1945 not 1947. Is her DOB correct? Plus I don't know her husband, if? @tracy can you correct me if I'm wrong?

I looked at Francine Gottfried briefly. I imagine that unless her exact DOB can be narrowed down, it's probably fruitless to search for her given that she probably lives under another name now. 

 

This says she was just shy of turning 21 in September 1968, so I wouldn't think she's the 1945 one.

It's good that I have one marriage record now, even if it doesn't appear to be the right one (I'm guessing she was married multiple times). I've seen the 2010 death record in the past. Annoying that we can't prove that it's her.

Can anyone find me anything on Actor Frank Crompton (IMDb).

 

No date of birth or death on IMDb or any other site that I can see, IMDb also has him listed as having been a crew member on a 1922 film which, considering that his acting credits don't start til the 70s, is quite likely an error.

A quick search in the British Newspaper Archive reveals he had a stage role in a production of South Pacific in April 1956. He played the character Louis Billis. The casting age for that character is normally 30s/40s so likeliness is he's long dead.

Yes, it is the right person per marriage and birth records as well as a newspaper article on the actress' marriage to William Casey.

Well, I can't find her as "Patrica Casey" the only person who look close like her is a Patricia Parrish who died in November 1984 in Las Vegas. Only if she was divorced and married someone else?

Likely the case. The son apparently used the surname Chapas in high school, so maybe that is a clue (though no immediate hits).

I can't find a birthdate but given the picture below she should be at least mid-70's, however I wasn't able to find when it was taken which means she might be quite a bit older.
 

 

Her first acting credit on IMDb seems to be an episode of Vision On in 1964, however her second credit is given in 1981 so the first date might be wrong? She later on appeared in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows pt. 1 (2010) as Auntie Muriel and in Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy (2011) as Mrs Pope Graham; with no acting credits found after 2014.

Lives in London. Can't find an age because that appears to be a stage name.

Talent agency still lists her here so still about but likely retired.

Given that she played a Weasley in a Harry Potter film I doubt her death would go unnoticed.

A comment on this youtube video from six months ago claims M. Rajan died in 2018, and I think it's unlikely whoever wrote the comment is lying:

Was watching Fury from the Deep and fell back down the Bill Burridge rabbit hole. Burridge (IMDb) plays the character of Mr Quill in the 1968 Doctor Who serial but his credits aren't limited to just that. Work has been done before on other websites to try and find out what happened to him, but he's seemingly never been mentioned here. 

 

What is known (or not known)

The BBC has apparently been previously contacted about him and he has apparently died but no date was given (however this statement hasn't been proven).

Based on this there's speculation that he died in 1975 as someone with the same name died that year and his last TV credit was 1973, but again there isn't proof of this being him.

Doctor Who Magazine doesn't seem to have reported his death at any point.

His date of birth is sadly not know,  making search efforts harder.

 

Can anyone here find any thing concrete on this enigma of a man. This has been bugging me for a while and any help would be greatly welcome.

I take it you know from Dr Who forums that Equity put out an SOS for his contact details so his royalties could be paid for him in 1976, and kept it doing it each year for a while, without response from him or anyone who knew him. In 2005, Equity did another attempt to search for Burridge, having kept his money for him, and it went to a dead end too.

 

According to frequent Pertwee era extra Terrence Denville in this book, Bill Burridge was working an extra on Frontier in Space (Roger Delgado's last Dr Who, fact fans) when he suffered a near fatal seizure due to an allergic reaction, and had to move directly into a nursing home. It seems like he died within a few years of this, but without friends or family to contact Equity and possibly not even under the name Bill Burridge.

No need to apologise, I hadn't come across that story from Frontier in Space. It does seem quite likely that he was the man who died in 1975, you don't get many Burridges and the timeline of events lines up almost perfectly.

What the book says

 

"I also remember a rather odd but likeable character called Bill Burridge who was made us as an alien with metallic greasepaint. This got into his bloodstream via a small cut and he later had some sort of brain seizure. He never worked again, and ended up in a home. As far as I know he never had any compensation from the BBC, but he was the kind of man who never complained or stood up for his rights"

 

Based on that I wouldn't be surprised if the BBC tried to cover it up as they basically killed him.
