I remember her as Trevor Jordach' twisted sister Brenna in Brookside in the mid 90's. You know Trevor, the body under the patio.

Gillian Hanna gets her well deserved Guardian Obit: https://www.theguardian.com/stage/2019/aug/29/gillian-hanna-obituary

Anna Quayle, 83, who played Mrs Monroe, would be worth keeping under observation. In 1964, she also appeared alongside John Lennon in A Hard Day's Night

Rest In Peace, a fantastic character actress.

Got to agree with this. Pretty much excellent in any role I ever saw her in.

We're not all obsessed with death you know, sometimes it's good to know that even through suicidal thoughts and his diagnosis, he's still hopeful, nearing on 50.

Touching, actually.

One of my first crushes was Ziggy. He was on pointless Celebs recently. He didn't seem quite all there so this makes sense.

Sean Arnold confirmed dead on Wiki. He played Crozier the boss of Bergerac in the Jersey-based series for 8 of the 9 series. The other crime series created by Robert Banks Stewart was Shoestring & the boss of Eddie Shoestring was played by Michael Medwin & he also died this year

Nobody's death is "confirmed" by inclusion on Wikipedia.

IIRC, he was once convicted of harassment of his girlfriend ( was she his ex by then or she was never his partner?) actress Celia Imrie.

Well, nobody picked him for this year.

Anthony Dawes reported dead by his local church: https://m.facebook.com/sloanechurch/posts/3630247620423162

In possibly everything except Doctor Who? I'll be cross-posting this to Grange Hill, for example.

IMDB: https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0205928/

Oh, and in case you don't know the name, here's the face:

Anthony Dawes — RADA

RIP.

Cross-posting. Anthony Dawes played Mr Golightly in an early episode of Grange Hill.

I remember him best as the Headmaster in Who Sir, Me Sir? A great kids programme that has had its share of cadavers.

Producer of the show Ron Smedley reported dead mid-month. And nobody seems to have noticed:

Imdb: https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0970228/

Also produced and sometime directed shows such as Zigger Zagger and Magic Grandad.

Cross posting news of Alan Hawkshaw's death here, the composer of stock music Chicken Man, used as the theme tune for the show for many years (as well as Give Us A Clue):

So they are making a movie, with an opportunity for some cameo appearances: https://www.itv.com/news/2022-01-07/grange-hill-to-return-to-our-screens-but-not-as-you-know-it

Can't see it working on the big screen - the cloying claustrophobic atmosphere and the relationships just can't be replicated I think.

Will they update the drug addictions?  Heroin is so 80/90s.

Nicholas Donnelly was one of the major characters in the show, pretty sure he played it with a fairly convincing Scottish accent!

Played long running character Sgt Johnny Wills in Dixon Of Dock Green and a recruit in Carry On Sergeant.

RIP.

While I don't recognise the name, the face is instantly recognisable.

I'm not sure how convincing the Scottish accent was, however!
