We've got about everything else covered, so why not?

http://www.dancarlin.com/hardcore-history-series/

A lot free just now and hour after hour on the Khans etc. Don't agree with a lot of the analogies, but we'll worth a download to fill some time.

'Serial' gets a good mention, and I have still to start it but as it is just going into season 2 now is the time I think.

Unlike the historical stuff of Carlin, this is murder/mystery shit , but meant to be very very clever.

Gilbert Gottfried's Amazing Colossal Podcast is perfect for anyone who cares about the history of Hollywood, and particularly which actors were anti-semites and/or had massive cocks. The most recent episode, In Memoriam 2015, is perfect for deadpoolers.

Still the only non-football podcast I listen to religiously. Their 2016 In Memoriam is up now, great stories and anecdotes about Garry Shandling, Carrie Fisher and Florence Henderson, among others.

I don't know if they're still available but Romesh Ranganathan did a series of podcasts called Hip Hop Saved My Life, even if you don't like hip hop it's very funny and quite interesting.

And he's still alive - obviously

I only listen to a few non-(U.S.)football-related podcasts.
Here are two featured ones.

BTW I brought up the other day my thinking of doing a DP podcast.  I did find one that exists, but they only tape it every couple months.  I want to do a weekly one.

If you like ghost stories, and antiquary/lit history references, A Podcast to the Curious is for you. If not, it's probably not.

There was a cool life of Napoleon one I lost track of, url and all.

The first three episodes of Classic Showbiz by entertainment historian Kliph Nesteroff are fascinating, dealing with the mob's involvement in comedy, the rise and fall of gay comedian and killer Ray Bourbon and the first black comedienne Moms Mabley.

Those of you who have any interest in (who was anti-semitic and who had a massive penis in) old Hollywood or Golden Era TV will already been listening, but for those who aren't: the in memoriam episode of Gilbert Gottfried's Amazing Colossal Podcast is up for 2019.  Essential listening for anyone who has interest in dead celebrities, and I never knew that Charles Manson was indirectly responsible for Doris Day's hermitude.
