October 24th, was a remarkably dull day. 2 of 4 names are rednames.

Since Al-Baghdadi's death everything has been excessively quiet.

November 4th had ZERO deaths listed in 2018, and though the day is dawning, none yet in 2019.
Furthermore, only ONE unimportant death in 2017 and two more unremarkable deaths in 2016 (See below).
It really has been a date void of notable deaths in recent years.

Ah, but November 4 1995 was one of the few days in history with four legit "DeathListy" names dying:

Rabin was death of the year - in a busy year.

I guess Gay Byrne’s death broke that trend.

I've only had three people on my longlist die this month (Gay Byrne, Rudy Boesch, Timi Hansen). It's remarkably quiet, once again.

Not anymore, as T. N. Seshan becomes the first death of the day

Oh the Indian chief election commissioner, well Christ on a bike that’s the front page news sorted for the rest of the week then. This is huge.

Today, so far....

Maybe all the journalists and almost-corpses have been watching the impeachment trial, I know I have!

Are you being facetious.  Sometimes I can't tell with you, young man.  I do hope so.

For all the excitement over Terry Jones, it's worth noting Wikipedia has no deaths listed for today as of 18:33 GMT

Unusual to get to 15.34 even on a sunday without at least one been posted on Wikipedia.

Actually it looks to be more simplistic than that. Someones stuck a semi-protected edit request on it.... so only 'establish users' can edit. A lot of updaters  aren't necessarily established users so won't bother requesting talk....

One of the major editors of that page has also quit wiki.

Damn, had him pegged for the MMMDP.

Had him lined up for the semi-finals of the cup. Another example of why it’s pointless putting together a cup team a week in advance. A few hours before the deadline is time enough.

I have about six candidates for the MMMDP now, but I bet they'll all be dead within the week (except for Balbir Singh, of course).
