Apologies, there's bound to be a better thread for this one....but even though she died 31st December 2015 her husband has only yesterday made public that Beth Howland from the TV series Alice has died. http://www.nytimes.com/2016/05/25/arts/television/beth-howland-accident-prone-waitress-from-the-sitcom-alice-dies-at-74.html?rref=collection%2Fsectioncollection%2Fobituaries&action=click&contentCollection=obituaries&region=rank&module=package&version=highlights&contentPlacement=1&pgtype=sectionfront

There's the American Sitcoms thread.

I was only talking about Alice with someone the other day, mostly about how bad the theme song was and whether Beth's skinniness was down to drugs or anorexia. Probably both actually.

George Kirby, one of the world's oldest newlyweds, died at the age of 103: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-3609191/One-half-world-s-oldest-newlyweds-passes-away-laughing-joking-days-celebrating-104th-birthday.html with a qo.

time mentioned the pair as possibilities for 2016 here: http://www.deathlist.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=8444&p=225524 but nobody took up the offer on the DDP for either of them.

Don't know if anyone else has reported this but the actor Buck Kartalian who played the part of Julius in the original Planet of the Apes film has died at 93 http://variety.com/2016/film/news/buck-kartalian-planet-of-the-apes-dies-at-93-cool-hand-luke-1201782184/

I posted this and one of my DPers said 'I'm down to my last Buck' which I think would make a GREAT thread, like the Dickless thread etc. Buck Henry Buck Martinez I'm sure there are enough to fill it out. Anyway it was a great one liner I had to share.

Damn, I'm sure i was first with that one.I'll give it another try.The actress Angela Paton who played Mrs Lancaster in the film Groundhog Day has died at 86 http://www.bgdailynews.com/news/national/groundhog-day-actress-angela-paton-dies-at-age/article_74f9e595-f0f4-50bd-955f-eab89c34cc0e.html

Your post was the first and only time Buck Kartalian had been mentioned anywhere on this site; the same holds true for Angela Paton.

Having had my home broken into several times, I think shooting is too kind. I would happily have subjected the POS to various tortures first.

In the words of the arch liberal Clint Eastwood, 'where do you draw the line... you gonna shoot some guy because his dog pisses on your lawn?' Magnum Force 1973.

That's not a terribly good comparison really.

The Dog will have a piss anywhere and doesn't understand boundaries, its the owner thats to blame.

However, If the dog owner pisses on your lawn, you kill him.

It's a metaphor.

Fell into the usual trap of thinking lots of replies to this thread meant someone of note had died...

Drawing the line may seem difficult to some but if someone breaks into my house, that person is going to get shot. It seems pretty obvious to me.
