The dead of 2016

Recommended Posts

This post is dedicated to Spade Cooley because it contains literally nothing.

Anton Yelchin, Chekov in Star Trek has died in a car crash apparently.

Seems he was pinned between his (?) car and a brick post box according to TMZ.

27 Club member.

Yeah, and a devotee of the Brian Harvey brainless self endgangerment method. Nobody appears too sure WTF Yelchin was doing to get into the predicament in the first place; and he's not saying anymore.

He's certainly not Russian around now.

Report tonight that his car is being investigated. Some similar models had been recalled for their tendency to roll when the brakes were on

Wasn't sure where to put him as he's been in a lot of things...

Actor Peter Fontaine dead at 95. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/obituaries/2016/06/28/peter-fontaine-actor--obituary/

Was in Z-Cars, Hi-De-Hi, The Avengers, The Saint and The Liver Birds, as well as having a role in For Your Eyes Only.

Also a close mate of Sir Roger Moore apparently (he seems to have lost a lot of pals recently!)

He can go in British Character Actors

But it's good to have him recorded here too.

German born British TV producer Peter Morley has died aged 91/92. https://twitter.com/BAFTA/status/747398728890322944

Won a BAFTA for his coverage of Winston Churchill's State Funeral.

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2686548/

I see the subject of his 'return to Auschwitz ' documentary, Kitty Hart https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kitty_Hart-Moxon is still above ground, and eminently obitable.
