The dead of 2016

Recommended Posts

Weatherman Ian McCaskill has died aged 78. https://www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/2016/dec/12/ian-mccaskill-obituary?CMP=twt_gu

A very sad hit for my Windy City Deadpool. Gotcha!

Rory Bremner must be gutted - his greatest ever impression (apart from John Major!) RIP

The Queen's cousin, Margaret Rhodes, has died aged 91. She often showed up as a talking head in documentaries about Libby, iirc she was one of the people the then Princess Elizabeth snuck out of Buckingham Palace with to enjoy the VE day celebrations in London, allegedly.

Another of the Queen's bridesmaids, Lady Elizabeth Longman died on Thursday aged 92. The Daily Royal helpfully informs us that there are only 2 still alive, Lady Pamela Hicks, aged 87, and the whippersnapperish Princess Alexandra, who will be 80 on Christmas day.

They say everything happens in threes. 2 of the 3 longest serving heads of state of the 20th century have died in the past few weeks- our last 2 hits- the King of Thailand and Fidel Castro. The third one is .. none other than the Queen. Could she be next ?!

Is that your 3rd consecutive stupid post?

Hell no i've posted much more than 3 !

I forgot where it was but someone mentioned that Robert and Peter Vaughan had died, so a third Vaughan will die soon.

Could it be Hawaiian music "legend" Palani Vaughan?

Was he more or less famous than the other Hawaiian music legend Jimmy Borges?

Oft-mentioned shortlister Craig Sager won't be making the starting line

Didn't he attend the Hall of Fame thing? That was quick then.

I saw this clip a few weeks ago, which features him at the end and I suspected he wouldn't make the starting line

I'm guessing 80% of DDP teams are back to the drawing board.
