I once knew a guy who donated a heart. He died in an accident and at the time of his death was physically fit to the point the surgeons would have struggled to believe the quality of the heart they'd just acquired. Since when our deceased friends various mates have both imagined how the recipient might have felt (probably like s/he had just taken a massive hit of speed) and also speculated on how long that lucky recipient might usefully live.

I rather liked this quote of his Mere factual innocence is no reason not to carry out a death sentence properly reached. A man with clarity of what justice means. Obama should replace him with Denis Leary (hey, I feel another thread coming on).

There's a death that will get conspiracy theorists aflame for sure.

And when they start wantonly bombing public buildings some liberal judge will go easy on them!

I can't believe it...

Probably not big news for Brits.

But for us Americans, this is huge news!

We're as happy as the Brits were when Thatcher died!

The person may be dead, but there are many that still support the issues he stood for. Perhaps being the "true patriot" the right wingers are making him out to be, he could have held out until Monday before dying. Or 4th of July.

No ALL Brits were 'happy' when she died.

History demonstrates here arrogance but it also shows that she did good in many ways, the wind of change the country needed.

I rather dislike it.*
